Joseph Marconi is a writer, director, and multi-hyphenate creative from the Hudson Valley, New York. Starting his career in advertising with companies like BBDO and Showtime, he honed his skills in storytelling and design while creating campaigns for global brands. After spending a year as a New York City nightlife photographer, he shifted to filmmaking, blending his diverse creative background with a passion for visual storytelling. His short film Wild Animal won Best Short Film and Best Made in Montana Film at the 2021 MINT Film Festival, while his editing work on Hargrove (directed by Eliane Henri) and the Muslim Futurism music video Alhamdu (directed by Abbas Rattani) earned premieres at 2022 Tribeca Film Festival. A 2021 Film Independent Fellow, Joseph’s work spans short films, music videos, and branded content. He’s designed and written treatments for production companies like Anonymous Content, Somesuch, and Iconoclast for global brands like Nike, VRBO, Expedia, Toyota, Ford, Adidas, and many more. His breadth of experience highlights his belief that being a multi-hyphenate creative is not just an asset but a necessity in today’s fast-evolving storytelling landscape. With his debut feature film coming out in 2025, Baby Love, Joseph continues to showcase his ability to craft impactful, visually striking stories that resonate across mediums.
